For those club secretaries and captain's that like to keep their notice boards up to date with regard to league tables, averages etc then try this. It will also be handy for those running the fantasy league.

  • First step is to download the league database file
  • You will also require the AllView application to read the database with.
  • It's straight forward enough. Unzip the application to a folder of your choice. Run the executable. You will see a 'Load Season' button. Select this and point to the database file you downloaded (the .dat file)
  • This is an excellent appliation written by a chap called Steve Blaymire. You also may wish to try his AllBut Bowls Club application. This allows you to keep track of all your club bowlers, including contact details, registrations, scores, averages etc. Visit Steves Web Site for details.

Printing Instructions (if using a single side printer):

  • Your front page should be card to give a professional look
  • Select File, Print. In the Print Window you should see a 'Print Range' section. Select the 'Subset' drop down box. Select 'Odd Pages Only'
  • Replace your print outs in the Printer. It is worth having some practice with a single sheet of paper so that you can work out which way you need to enter the paper into your printer. Select File, Print again but this time select 'Even Pages Only' from the Subset drop down
  • It may take you one or two practices to work out what orientation you need to put your paper back in but you'll soon get the hang of it
  • You will need a long Stapler to be able to reach the middle and staple them neatly but it's worth the effort
